Challenge
Our customer wanted to re-design and develop the next generation version of a highly successful product slated for emerging markets. The key challenges involved, redesigning the product to meet local conditions, including UI, form-factor, functionality, size, upgradability all with a competitive price point to capture share in emerging market deployments.

Solution
SoftDEL teams completely re-designed the product including selection of the hardware platform, redesign of the embedded firmware and application and a state-of-the-art touchscreen UI.
The complete product design, testing and delivery process was handled by SoftDEL. A highly configurable solution with state-of-the-art GUI, communication protocols, small form factor and light weight modular design was developed.
