Required Technical Expertise:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with 8+ years of experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Project Management, People Management, Cost Control, Quality Management, Risk Management, Stakeholder Management and ISO processes. This role requires the ability to manage projects from planning to delivery and a deep understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, ISO standards, and regulations.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of PLC and SCADA systems for industrial automation projects.
- Define architecture and ensure integration of PLCs, SCADA, and field devices.
- Debug existing PLC Software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Japanese stakeholders for requirement gathering and technical discussions.
- Develop and review PLC programs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, etc.) and SCADA configurations (ICONICS, Wonderware, WinCC, Ignition, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning at client sites.
- Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
- Mentor junior engineers and manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Ready to Travel Overseas as well as Domestic Sites.
- Experienced in implementing secure development methodologies, ensuring robust protection of sensitive data and systems integrity.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron).
- Expertise in SCADA systems (ICONICS, Wonderware, WinCC, Ignition, or similar).
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (BACnet, Ethernet, Modbus, Profibus, OPC UA).
- Hands-on experience with HMI development and integration.
- Understanding of electrical control systems, instrumentation, and automation standards.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging PLC/SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with networking basics for industrial systems.
Added Advantage:
- Experience with DCS systems and advanced automation solutions.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts, IoT integration, and cloud connectivity.
- Knowledge of Sensors & Transmitters Like Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Level etc.
- Knowledge of Control Valves & Actuators.
- Knowledge of Combustion Safety & Control System.
- Knowledge of Schematics & Hardware Design in Control & PLC Panels.
- Experience in Testing & commissioning.
- Communicate effectively in basic Japanese for documentation review and client interactions (N5/N4 level)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Communicate effectively both in written and oral English.
- Self-motivated, innovative, willing to pursue new technical areas and capable of working independently.
