Our client had access to a wealth of data on their surface and subsurface environments, but it was only accessible through their Human-Machine Interface (HMI). They needed a more flexible solution that could handle multiple data streams and object-oriented control logic in a graphical format. To address this need, they turned to Softdel for help in developing a web-based version of their HMI. This new solution can be used by anyone, including engineers, geologists, and business owners, on any device.

- Softdel’s engineers developed a web-based visualisation of the customer’s HMI runtime, allowing easy access to data.
- The solution also enabled the export of detailed extensible markup language (XML) representations of configured screens, graphics, objects, etc. The scope involved:
- Parsing the XML data.
- Segregating it into static and dynamic data​.
- Look up images in the repository​.
- Rendering it in a web view/web browser.
