Our customer sought a highly customisable monitoring and control device that connected their next-gen pressure monitoring equipment, and enabled support for BACnet as well as proprietary protocols. - Softdel designed a comprehensive, end-to-end sensor monitoring solution that included hardware design, firmware development, various form factor HMI integrations, and application development.
- Hardware development was preceded by designs that included 2D and 3D modelling for a more accurate representation of the end product.
- The solution interface included a 6-layer PCB design and supported multiple environmental parameters including humidity, temperature, occupancy, and more.
- The HMI platform was designed and developed with a dynamic library capable of personalisation as per application requirements.
- The solution included Linux customisation and porting, device driver development, and Board Support Packages (BSP) development.
