The customer aimed to enhance their sustainable building automation with a state-of-the-art network sensor. Our solution, a next-gen sensor with a user-friendly touch interface and NFC application, seamlessly gathers and transmits data to multiple platforms. - Softdel adopted a comprehensive development approach, covering hardware, electronics, and software for the next-generation network sensor.
- To deliver an intuitive experience for building occupants, a user-friendly HMI was developed incorporating a display module and touch interface.
- The network sensor integrated the five most crucial sensors - Temperature, Humidity, IAQ, Occupancy, and Proximity.
- The network sensor featured NFC connectivity, allowing installers to configure and customise the display from any NFC-enabled mobile device.
- Softdel included provisions for firmware updates, and implemented an external input for enhanced zone monitoring, such as window or door contact, object identification, temperature averaging, or other dry contact sensor information.
- The solution was further enhanced with data aggregation capabilities, facilitating seamless gathering of sensor data and transmission to third-party applications and Building Management Systems (BMS) for better building operations.
- Softdel conducted extensive testing including integration and functional testing to validate the performance and ensure reliability of the network sensor.
